A little off-topic, but highly interesting: In April 2013 the former User Interface Head of Wordpress (and Wordpress expert) John O’Nolan started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of a new open-source blogging software, something that corrects everything Wordpress has made wrong. GHOST is exactly that. GHOST was funded with 8x (!) more than the original goal, and the result is a beautiful, extremely lightweight, extremely fast and entirely in JavaScript written (!) software with a node.js server in the “backend”. A few days ago, GHOST was released to the public, and this will definitly become the new Wordpress (and node.js will btw definitly be interesting for every PHP developer). https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player\_embedded&v=rE-ESO7GCJg GHOST blogging platform server Everybody should try this out.
